Octoblast Essentials

- 01• Friday to Sunday: 8am to 9pm • Sunday and Monday: Exit only after 2pm • Monday: Gates close at 7pm (all packed up and off-site by then) • Tip: No entering or exiting outside gate hours. - 02• Tent camping is included with your ticket. • Campsite entrance is approximately 500 meters from the festival site. • Open Friday 8am to Monday 7pm. • No camping at Lake Tomarata. If staying longer, book local eco-huts, campsites, or an Airbnb. • Facilities include drinking water, cold showers, and toilets. • You may bring a cooking setup but it must be secured off the ground or in a vehicle. • No open flames and no ground cooking. Vendors will also have plenty of food options. • Leave no trace: take all rubbish home. • Bikes are fine for the campsite and walkway but must be parked before entering the festival grounds. - 05• Ticket and vehicle pass (every car needs one). • Valid ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Kiwi Access Card). • Camping gear. • Water bottle and thermos. We recommend 10 liters per person for the campsite. • Shade gear such as a gazebo or shade sail positioned over your tent. • Sunblock, hats, and umbrellas. • Swimwear and towel. • Festival outfits, but avoid sequins, feathers, or anything that sheds. • Rubbish and recycling bags for your own waste. • Portable ashtray if you smoke. • Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. - 07• No glass. No fire. No pets. • Gas cookers must be secured in a vehicle or off the ground. • Fire risk is extreme. Be cautious with lighters, matches, and cigarettes. - 08• Octoblast is a leave-no-trace event. Take everything home with you. • Bring reusable bottles, cups, plates, and cutlery.
